We took a boat trip to Silves with alvor boat trips as a family and we all agreed it was a very well spent day , we were picked up at our hotel , brought to the marina in praia de rocha and our trip began it was more than we thought it would be , VERY RELAXED day out we were wined and dined on our way up to silves , with a lovely 3 course lunch , the staff were so nice and polite , even though there were other's on the boat we felt as if we were the only one's on the boat we had plenty of privacy and the whole family enjoyed our day out , it is not the cheapest trip around but saying that we were gone from 12-30 until 6 pm and fed and watered so when you take all that into account it was worth every penny ...highly recommended for familys or couples alike ~ Derek M

Hele goeie boottour in de Algarve in Portugal aan het prachtige kust van Portugal. Niet normaal mooie beelden kunnen maken van de rotsen en grotten. Ook het personeel aan boot waren heel leuk en grappig die man had leuke humor. Als je wil komt hij je ophalen bij het hotel, echt super. Ik had dat niet gedaan ik had zelf een auto gehuurd hier in Portugal. ~ maury s

Si estás pensando hacer una excursión no dudes hacerla con ellos. Ha sido de las mejores experiencias de estas vacaciones. Hicimos a las 10h el crucero por la costa de Portimao hasta Alvor con nuestro pequeño de 7 años y ha sido un gran acierto. Fantastic time on our Alvor boat trips tour. Peggy who we booked with was so friendly and helpful, collected from our hotel on time and the boat took us out for about 2 hours overall. The waves were a bit choppy which couldn't be helped but i felt that the cave stops were a bit rushed. Our 2 tour guides were lovely too, one portuguese speaking and one english speaking. Other passengers were able to get a quick swim in at the end before getting us back to the harbour at Portimao. If there is one small criticism i have, it is that i didn't feel completely safe or comfortable on the transfer drives, this is because the driver drove fast and used his phone quite a lot while taking us to and from Portimao. Overall a great experience but maybe have a word with your driver. ~ YoYo

Großartiger Ausflug in die Grotten der Algarve! Professionelle Durchführung und das zu einem super Preis. Wir wurden außerdem kostenlos von und zu unserer Pension in Alvor gebracht. Durch das kleine wendige Boot (Max 12 Personen) konnte man bis tief in die Grotten reinfahren. Wir hatten sogar so viel Glück, dass wir zwischendurch Delfine gesehen haben. Fabulous speed boat trip. We spent a lovely two hours from Portimao east to Benagil Caves. The outward journey was taken at a leisurely pace as the small boat (only 12 passengers max) was expertly slotted into the tiniest of gaps by the Michel. There are some beautiful caves and Michel added to this by adding bits of local knowledge and a touch of history (in both Portuguese and English). That took about 1.5 hours. The return journey was more of an adrenalin rush as the speedboat returned at speed... Loved it. What was especially nice was that we were staying in Alvor, but the company were happy to transport us to Portimao for no extra money. Great friendly staff, great scenery and well worth the money we paid. Highly Recommended ~ Kevin R

Booked this for the weekend and got a text.to ask us to reschedule for Monday. We we're disappointed, but we needn't have been. The weekend was grey and windy, and Monday dawned without a breath of wind or a cloud in the sky. We had plenty of room on the boat with spectacular views of the coastline, even though we didn't have a lot of time to see it. The first couple of fish to oblige were the beautiful but venemous Scorpion fish, followed closely by some nice sea bream. A quick change of location and it was all hands on rods as some really big mackerel came aboard, quickly followed by some very good sized triggerfish. All on board caught the fish, caught the sun, and had a great morning! Definitely a highlight of our stay. ~ Frags G

Die Delfin-Tour: ein tolles Erlebnis. Zwei Defingruppen mit zahlreichen Tieren gesehen, darunter einige Jungtiere. Das war mehr als wir erwartet hatten. Dazu ein heisser Ritt über die Wellen. Zwei Stunden Action und Naturerlebnis. Man merkt, dass hier alle mit Freude bei der Sache sind. Sehr zu empfehlen ~ Andreas C

Recently did went on two tours with Alvor Boat Trips. Staff are super friendly and will do everything they can to get you the tour you want. We chartered a boat for caves and sunset, it was one of the highlights of our trip. Our captain and First mate were super friendly & helpful ensuring we had a memorable trip. Also did the dolphin tour which we thought may end without dolphins but the captain was in contact with other boats in the area to find our where they were and eventually we saw them! I think the price was very reasonable for the service we received. Boats depart from Portimão but they will transport you to there from Alvor ~ Tom C

The team built up by Luis at Alvor Boat Trips are a great bunch, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional... We were initially pointed in their direction by our hotel, and it was just easy and fun from there. We booked at the hut in Alvor, intending on a single trip but ended up not being able to make a choice between the river cruise to Silves or the coastal caves, so we did both and both were well worth the money. . the caves on the rib was pure childish fun, and the river cruise a relaxing half day with Luis and Carlos (and the home made Sangria!).... Worth every cent, thanks for the fun!! ~ Jason L

Bereits zum zweiten Mal haben wir eine Angel-Tour hier gebucht. Es ist jedes Mal ein Erlebnis. Inklusive vorbei schwimmender Delfine. An einem Vormittag konnten wir anderthalb Eimer Fisch fangen. Die Guides sind freundlich und helfen bei allem. Empfehlenswert auch und gerade für Familien. ~ Sven

Passeio pela costa ao por do sol simplesmente sensacional 😊 o barco dispõe de uma zona fechada no qual nos dias de vento faz sem dúvida a diferença. Expérience extra. Les grottes de portimao à benagil avec un capitaine au top qui nous fait découvrir avec passion et maîtrise parfaite de son bateau toutes les grottes y compris celles qui paraissent inatteignables. From start to finish, Alvor Boat Trips were absolutely amazing! We did the costal cruise for 3 hours, swimming in the incredible Algarve Sea, with Carlos and Fernando as the best hosts. We loved it so much, we left the boat, and booked the Champagne Sunset Cruise right away!!! What a sunset it was, again with the best hosts in the Algarve in Fernando and Carlos, we hugged the coastline to see the most incredible sunset ever! An amazing two boat trips, we cannot wait to go again next year!! Thanks to all the amazing staff for two unforgettable experiences!!! ~ David M

Heerlijk kunnen bodem vissen! We zijn zelfs nog een x gegaan. Ruim half uur varen vanaf de haven. Kapitein en knecht helpen je overal mee als je dat wilt. 4 emmers vol kunnen vissen. Erg veel beet dus. Ja, was echt succesvol! ~ wilma v

SUPERB !!! We did the River trip to Silves .. So relaxing and interesting.. We had tea and cake on the way up ..then 2 hrs to explore Silves and on the boat trip back we had such an amazing lunch ..3 courses including a choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks .. Such good value and Luis and Carlos are so professional and also good craic ..I cannot recommend this highly enough..we had 2 kids ages 3 and 6 with us and they loved the experience too ..Definitely a must do if yiu are here in Portimao.. We did a trip to Bengali and the caves along the route. Can categorically say it was one of the best trips we have ever done. Captain Claudio was amazing. Firstly such a lovely guy but very knowledgeable and a great boat driver. He managed to get us into some caves larger boats would not have been able to (and lesser boat drivers incapable). There was a bit of swell with an approaching storm but he was very safety first. We were onboard with our 3 year old son, and can recommend for a young family to older clients. Fantastic experience. We highly recommend using these guys. We were collected from our hotel right on time. The boat felt very clean and safe. During our trip dolphins were sighted out beyond the caves, we had finished seeing the caves so went out and had another amazing experience we didn’t expect. To see the dolphins swimming around the boat out the back was just lovely! From the kiosk guy selling us the tickets to the driver and boat operators we were impressed and highly recommend the Alvor tour experience! ~ R Y

Alvor Boat Trips is een gevestigd bedrijf. Sinds 1997. Ze hebben een bijzondere boot, de Solar boot waarmee ze meerdere tochten mee organiseren. Ervaren skippers en vriendelijk personeel. Zeer betaalbare privé charters. Zeker de moeite waard om even langs te gaan bij de stand bij de rivier. En vergis je niet, zij bestaan al het langst. Dank voor een paar mooie onvergetelijke boottochten naar de grotten, de zonsondergang, Silves rivier en voornamelijk de bangelijke coastal cruise!! Vissen is niet aan mij besteed maar ooit ga ik ook eens mee. ~ One M

That was our best boat trip what we took so far 👌 So professional crew and really nice people.
